There is a tiny scrap of paper taped to the door of the closet where I keep my clothes. I put it there years ago when I felt small, defeated and incapable. It's a quote from Thomas Edison that says: "If we all did what we were capable of doing we would literally astound ourselves."
Recently I overheard:
"What would you do if you weren't afraid?"
I'd love to hear what YOU would do.
Leave it in the comments...if you dare to be honest with yourself.

Easy. I'd quit my job and go back to school for genetics counseling.
I honestly can't think of anything. I feel like I'm doing what I was afraid to do in the past. I don't have the mentality of "I can't do this" anymore. I'm doing what I couldn't do.
I can't think of anything either? Even if I weren't afraid (which I am) I wouldn't jump out of a plane. Or drive 175 mph in a toy car. Most of the things I want to do but can't aren't due to lack of courage, but more lack of funding. :/
Exactly, April. All my fears are financially based. I'd also love to drop everything and become a stay-at-home mom. But that ain't gonna happen unless I win the lotto or something.
Ditto that "stay at home mom" comment. I still resent Mr. Make-It-Worse for screwing that all up for me. :-/
